Andrew Morrison
My current work sits at the intersection of practical AI deployment and public accountability — how do you build agentic systems that actually work for citizens, at scale, within the constraints of government? That question drives most of what I think about.
Advisory and Interest Roles
- Adjunct Associate Professor — Teaching AI in healthcare and enterprise AI topics at postgraduate level (Charles Darwin University), with a focus on human-centred design and responsible AI systems.
Background
My career spans Queensland and federal government digital transformation. I have a long-standing interest in open-source tooling, self-hosted infrastructure, and the practical craft of building things.
I'm pursuing an Executive Master of Technology Management at UTS, with coursework spanning AI for enterprises, cybersecurity analytics, and technology leadership.
This site
This is where I write about things I can share: AI governance thinking, university assignments and reflections, and technical topics I'm exploring. It's built with Astro and hosted on GitHub Pages.
I write in the open because the ideas get better when you have to explain them clearly, and because the public sector needs more practitioners sharing what they've learned.
