Government
Chief Technology (Data & AI) Officer
Leading the platforms that support digital.gov.au, architecture.digital.gov.au, and other whole-of-government digital capability. I support and help teams responsible for whole-of-government capability in the domains of Policy, Architecture, AI, and anything Digital — across Data, Engineering, Product, and Web.
Chief Digital Officer
Established and led a new business unit driving strategic digital transformation across a large federated department. Transformed enterprise architecture and strategic engagement into an internal consultancy capability, and embedded human-centred design and Design Thinking into service planning.
Delivered critical services at pace across multiple crises — including Queensland's pandemic response and disaster hardship payment systems during the 2022 SEQ floods, processing over 15,000 emergency grant applications in the first two weeks.
Advisory
AI Advisory Group — Technical Advisor
Technical advisor to the RFDS AI Advisory Group, supporting the development of AI-enhanced care for rural and remote Australia. The initiative is exploring AI tools for remote patient monitoring and clinical documentation in challenging field environments — including video-based vital sign assessment and speech-to-text in aircraft cabins — with a strong emphasis on clinical safety and ethical deployment.
Academic
Adjunct Associate Professor
Teaching AI in healthcare and enterprise AI topics at postgraduate level, with a focus on human-centred design and responsible AI systems.
Executive Master of Technology Management
Postgraduate study spanning AI for enterprises, cybersecurity analytics, and technology leadership. Coursework and assignments are shared on this site where appropriate.
